The Augustines - Nothing to Lose but your Head

The Augustines are back, once again called simply 'Augustines' (on their debut album they had to change their name to 'We are Augustines'). While their first album was about coping with loss, this album (also simply called 'Augustines') is about starting to live again.

John Butler Trio - The Only One

John Butler Trio - The Only One

There's something haunting me, running on thin ice
It's nothing you can see, I do all I can to hide
And all the rolling days, all the lonely nights
You don't know your place, all the fights

I keep on reading the same chapter
I cannot breathe, holding hiding truth
You always know when just to say let go

To me you are the only one
Who can help unwind my tangled mind
I am the seed but you're the sun
I'm telling anybody tell everybody

Egg Hell - Suffering

Egg Hell - Suffering

Suffering you're floating in the void
among thought-waves long destroyed
our starry heads are yours
dazed
and locked again
in your horny embrace

I find everything there
everything that exists
I find myself whole again
jumping to reach your fists

Suffering your eyes are so aware
they only flinch sometimes out of care
and then you can be seen
free of space debris
your dark and silent love

Pixies - Snakes

I can't get this song out of my head!
