About the Indie Cantina

One evening in early 2012, Mikkey (Magic) told me he wanted to start a mailing list with Moby (Tenenbaum) - to give each other a heads up about new music releases. I wanted to be a part of that, and the result has grown to become the Indie Cantina. We are a small community of people who probably wouldn't be blogging normally - DJs, musicians, fans. Indie Cantina is not about blogging for blogging's sake - but DJs posting songs for other DJs to see.

Indie Cantina is a place where we announce our discoveries, with posts mainly (but not only) of the sort "Lookie folks, I've found something!" : Kris Walpole's Keaton Henson post, Kennef's The Coup post, Zoidyn & Stacia's posts about the Lumineers are great examples.
