A guilty pleasure of sorts

KANJENA

There can be no shame in pleasure, and no guilt in the art of partying, as long as nobody gets hurt then there's no need for remorse. There is pleasure in the infliction of discomfortingly uncool music on those that take themselves too seriously, and there is no shame enjoying the moment as they squirm in their self righteous seats. The wonder of Sabrina singing Boys is in the simple power of a strident and dominating female, wanting boys for her non guilty pleasure, looking for a good time shamelessly, and gladly bouncing around the pool, demanding that they, the boys, "get ready for my love"
As an 11 year old I wanted to be her, to have a body like that, to frolic in a pool in the sunshine surrounded by adoring boys and girls, and to be in control of that sunshine, to have the power to bring the sunshine down and just sink under the water and drown in boys, boys, boys...there's the guilt and there's the pleasure.
